About the author
Vik Muniz was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1961. He lives and works in New York City and Rio de Janeiro. He research the most diverse materials to compose the pictures and landscapes of his photographs – scrap, sugar, chocolate, diamonds and more. About the illustrator
Adriana Calcanhotto is a songwriter and singer. She was born in Porto Alegre, in 1965, lives in Rio de Janeiro, but travels all the time to do shows. When she sings to children, she is Partimpim. In 2004, she won the Latin Grammy of best childrens show. She has also won four times the Latin Grammy of Best Lyric in Portuguese.
